The Piazza at Schmidts, Philadelphia

Every Sunday The Piazza at Schmidts in Philadelphia has a flee market, so Elise and I decided to check it our before brunch. The Piazza is a European-style open space surrounded by shops, restaurants and galleries. It was designed and named after Rome’s famous piazzas. They have the typical flee market vendors....you know.... repurposed furniture, vintage clothing, collectibles and antiques, as well as a tightly curated selection of jewelry, art, and crafts by local artisans and designers, plus delicious fresh food.

Being the hot sauce connoisseur I am, we had to stop off and chat with this guy and taste his product. He had four different flavors and they were all delicious!  His product is all natural and they also ship if you would like to try it. The hot sauce is called Hank Sauce and they also own a restaurant in Sea Isle City, New Jersey that looks really good. I purchased the original recipe, "Hank's Heat" and Elise got the "Cilanktro".
We got a little hungry, so we talked over to Standard Tap, a restaurant located in Northern Liberties neighborhood of Philly.

We got nestled into our seats, ordered a couple mimosas and the BLT&A
After brunch, we headed back to the train station, said our good-byes and I departed back to DC. I had a wonderful time in Philly with one of my good San Diego girlfriends!! Till next time Philly!! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend as well!
