With Love, From Philly

A beautiful summer day in Philly! Today was absolutely gorgeous, not too humid with a beautiful breeze! Elise and I headed out to brunch first thing and then went to explore the city. I absolutely adore Philly! The city is a mixture of Victorian architecture, Greek Revival and Federal style buildings. We visited Love Park , which is located in Center City and absorbed all the LOVE around us!!

We were in dire need of something sweet, so we went to the Reading Terminal Market. The Reading Terminal Market is a enclosed public market with over one hundred merchants. They have everything you could possible imagine like produce, meats, flowers, ice-cream, crafts, books, ethnic food, spices, groceries and clothing.. Really cool place!!

We purchased our ice-cream and headed back out for some more sightseeing.

Philadelphia City Hall with a statue of the city's founder, William Penn on the top.

Since it was such a beautiful day out, we decided to head to Kelly Drive for a nice stroll on the water. Kelly drive is right next to the Philadelphia Museum of Art and the famous "Rocky Steps"...

Here he is....the famous Rocky!

The Fairmont neighborhood also has this beautiful statue of Joan of Arc, carrying her standard into battle.

After our leisurely stroll through the park, we stopped off for a drink and appetizer before getting cleaned up and heading to dinner..

One of Elise's friends has a beautiful rooftop view of the city, so we absorbed the beauty and headed to dinner.

We ate dinner at Continental Restaurant & Martini Bar located in Old City.
To start we ordered the Thai Chicken Lettuce Wraps with bibb lettuce and spicy peanut dipping sauce.
We also went for the Ahi Tuna Tartare with sesame crackers and Asian love sauce.

Had a few glasses of wine, some good laughs and called it a night!!
See you all tomorrow!! Good Night!
