Thanksgiving 2013

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with love, laughter and lots of good food!! Jonathan and I spent Thanksgiving at home this year, just a intimate Thanksgiving for two! We started the day off with the Macy's parade and talked about past and future Thanksgivings as a family..We both love to cook, so we spent the majority of the afternoon in the kitchen cooking, laughing and making memories.
Jonathan prepared a Roasted Turkey with Garlic, Fennel and Sage and it turned out perfectly plump and juicy!
Dinner is served! We discussed all the wonderful things we're thankful for and enjoyed our feast.
I couldn't decide on a pie, so we enjoyed Apple, Pumpkin and Chocolate Pecan.
Notice the little lurker in the back? ha-ha, Luna loved her first Thanksgiving
After dinner we facetimed with the family out in CA. I miss them so much everyday, so seeing their faces on the ipad really helps.
I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!! I am so thankful for the people in this picture and so much more!!
With Love, Dana xoxo

Weekend Date Trips!

Ciao!! Over the weekend Jonathan and I had a wonderful date in Baltimore. We heard rave reviews about Little Italy and especially a restaurant there called Aldo's Italian Restaurant, so we decided to check it out before heading to the show.
We fell madly in love with this little gem. It's an old-school Italian spot with linen-covered tables, impeccable service, and formal d├ęcor.
All of their ingredients are locally sourced, organic and absolutely delicious.
After dinner we sat down for a wonderful show at the Hippodrome in Baltimore...
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with your loved ones as well.Ciao!

FALL in Love Bridal Shower & Champagne Brunch

We are welcoming the newest addition into the Oliver family this January and thought what better time to throw a bridal shower then in the peak of Fall!!She loves brunch, so we hosted a Champagne Brunch on this beautiful Saturday morning.
The beautiful bride arrived and the fun began...
We had bottomless Mimosas and Poinsettias waiting for our guest as they arrived....
For brunch we served:
Black Forest Ham & Cheese Croissants
Spinach, Tomato & Gouda Cheese Croissants
Bacon & White Cheddar Mini Quiches
Spinach, Feta & Caramelized Onion Mini Quiches
Mini Waffles w/ Fig Preserves, topped with Whip Cream and Cinnamon
Fruit & Granola Parfaits

It was absolutely delicious!
We ate, we drank and we shared a lot of laughs together. After brunch was served, games were played and presents were opened, we headed outside to throw some leaves around and be silly.
Congrats to Ren and Nate as they start their lives together as one! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend filled with such love as well!!!
