Baby Moon/Cape May

Baby Moon's are an absolute must in my book! Jonathan and I are obsessed with traveling, so we booked a 10 day dream vacation to Turks & Caicos!! Unfortunately, our doctor had other plans for us and vetoed our trip one week before we were getting ready to depart. As you can imagine, we were very disappointed, but obviously the safety of our little guy comes first and Turks & Caicos will be there next year when we can all visit as a family! Babies first trip abroad maybe?? Anyway, we had already scheduled the time off,  scheduled our amazing pet sitter to watch over Luna, had our minds set on vacation and nothing was going to stop us!! I'm not allowed to fly anywhere until this little guy makes his debut, but there are some great little destination spots here on the East Coast we can utilize, so we decided on Cape May, New Jersey. Cape May is a city at the southern tip of Cape May Peninsula in Cape May County, New Jersey, where the Delaware Bay meets the Atlantic Ocean. Its one of the country's oldest vacation resort destinations and was super quaint and adorable.
We stayed at this little place called the Beach Shack, it was nothing fancy by any means, but one of the only places with availability in such short notice. It was cute and right across the street from the beach, so we settled in and headed out to put our toes in the sand.
We headed to lunch at this great place called The Lobster House, it's a really popular restaurant on the island with a great raw bar.
Jonathan ended up ordering the crab cake sandwich and the Hot Combo (2 Clams Casino, 2 BBQ Clams & 2 Oysters Rockefeller) and I got a delicious Tuna Melt.
After lunch we headed back to the beach and I ordered my dessert!! A Virgin Pina Colada!
We played in the water, got some sun and took in the serenity of the ocean!

My 6.5 Month Baby Bump!
We had such a great first day in Cape May!
