Austin Clark Oliver: Birth Story

At the hospital ready for our big day - one that will change our lives forever! Today we met the love of our lives! After 10 years as a family of two, today we became three! It's been a long time coming Austin. We dreamt and cried about you for years before you were conceived and you're finally here! A true miracle child! Welcome to the absolute best day of our lives! This is Austin Clark Oliver's birth story:
Our little boy was 11 days past due, so we had a scheduled induction date of September 10th. We headed to the hospital on September 9th for some pre-induction treatment with more excitement than words can describe!

The next morning we arrived back at the hospital at 7AM sharp to get induced. They hooked me up to all the monitors and got me going on pitocin. After a long 27 hours of labor, our little miracle boy (who didn't want to come out) finally graced us with his presence! The best things come to those who wait and the best things are worth the wait!
Austin Clark Oliver was born on September 11, 2014 at 10:09AM weighing in at 8lbs 6oz and 22 inches long. It was by far the best day of our lives and looking back at these pictures still seems like a surreal dream come true.
After a long labor, we got relocated to a more comfortable room we could call our own for the next two nights. All the nurses were absolute angels and nursing my baby boy for the first time was unbelievably overwhelming. Those three nights in the hospital with my family are days and nights that will stay at the forefront of my memory till I take my last breath. I can't believe how lucky I am to be this little boys mom and Jonathan's wife! He is super daddy and super husband and seeing him with Austin makes me the happiest girl on earth!
Never been happier with my little family

We headed home as a family of three on September 13th! Still can't believe this is real life!! Mom, Dad, Austin and Luna are beyond overwhelmed by joy and love!! Nonstop tears of joy!
