My little family has so much to be thankful for this year and it was definitely the best Thanksgiving yet with our little bundle of Joy. Thanksgiving produced the first snow of the season and Austin loved every minute of it. We bundled him up in his adorable little snow gear and baby Uggs and showed him SNOW before our big feast. We spent Thanksgiving at my in-laws gorgeous new home and broke in the first holiday memory with the new additions. This year I am thankful for our beautiful little boy; my amazing husband who works so hard to provide us with such a wonderful life; the opportunity to be able to stay at home with my little guy and not miss a thing; our health; our cozy home; our adorable sweet kitty, Miss LunaBella; our family; our friends; amazon prime, all my new mom friends and little baby giggles. I am thankful to be a mother, wife, daughter, sister, auntie and friend!!I am thankful to be ALIVE, physically and spiritually alive!!I'm thankful to be able to see the world and all of its beauty and I'm thankful for everyone who reads the LunaVine and supports my little piece of the internet. I hope all of you had a wonderful holiday with all of your loved ones!! Happy Thanksgiving!

Hello Friends!! It's about time I showed you Austin's "Around the World" Nursery! I adore his nursery and I hope you do too. A lot of the artwork in Austin's nursery came from the amazing baby shower that was thrown for us, you can see that here! My best friend, mother-in-law and sister-in-law know my taste so well that all the baby shower decor fit perfectly in the nursery.
My best friend Cheryl bought this for Austin from Potterybarn kids before the name "Austin" was determined, so she went with "Mr. Oliver," which I really love!
We bought all the nursery furniture from Costco and love it. It's a three piece convertible crib set made of solid wood with a non-toxic, baby safe finish. All of our linen is from Potterybarn Kids.
The little monkey was a gift from Auntie Megan and in my opinion every room needs an orchid and the nursery was no exception!
My little traveler is ready to see the world.
The hot air balloon artwork on the right is one of favorite pieces in the nursery. It was made by a couple of my closest friends and Austin loves to look at it while he is getting changed.
There were mini globes at the baby shower that we used to make a mobile in the middle of the room.
We get a lot of use out of our rocking chair and ottoman from Potterybarn kids.
The ladies requested that everyone bring a signed book instead of a card to the baby shower. We have such a great little book collection started because of it and all the books are extra special because they have little notes to baby Austin inside.
I hope you all enjoyed the tour!

Our little boy is two months old today!! I can't believe he is already two months old, but at the same time I feel like he has been with us forever. Sometimes I pinch myself and can't believe this is real life. The pride, love and joy I have for this little boy is immeasurable. He is such a little angel baby and never cries unless he is hungry or just needs a change of scenery. He is such a happy little boy who is always smiling, cooing and gooing. He has gotten so alert in his two months of life and always keeps a close eye on momma....momma does the same! When he looks at me with his bright eyes, I can tell he knows I'm his momma and it makes my heart melt. He smiles all the time and is close to laughing out loud, especially in the morning and after bath time. He has such a little personality already and is such a chill and laid back little soul. Life is so amazing with this little guy and I still cant believe he is all ours.

Halloween is always a special holiday in our home because it's Jonathan's birthday, but this year was EXTRA special because we had an adorable little pumpkin to share it with. We knew this Fall and holiday season would be the best year yet because of our little miracle baby, but he has exceeded our expectations by more than I can explain. We decided to have a little get together for Jonathan's birthday/Halloween and had such a great time celebrating. The family came over to hand out candy, kiss on the little pumpkin and share lots of laughs! I prepared Chili, Pumpkin Cornbread, Kettle Corn, Apple Cider and a Double Layer Chocolate Mocha Cake per the birthday boys request!
The night before the Halloween bash, our little family had a little pre-party! We carved pumpkins, danced to the Monster Mash, ate delicious chicken enchiladas, drank apple cider and counted our blessings!
Grammy and Poppy can't get enough of their little pumpkin. Austin is so lucky to have six amazing grandparents to love on.
Double Layer Chocolate Mocha Cake..
Jonathan and I were pumpkin farmers and boy did we grow a winner!
Happy Birthday to the birthday boy!
